
Amy Meredith Poehler (born September 16, 1971 in Burlington, Massachusetts) is an American actress, producer and comedienne. She was a cast member and writer on the NBC television entertainment show Saturday Night Live from 2001 to 2008. She is married to fellow actor Will Arnett, and is good friends with Tina Fey who she has worked with on films such as Mean Girls and Baby Mama. She is currently the lead star of the NBC show Parks and Recreation, and creator of children's programs The Mighty B and The Paz Show.
