About Amaranthe
Amaranthe is a Swedish heavy metal band originally formed under the name Avalanche. The band is known for combining multiple metal subgenres and for using three lead vocalists. The project was formed in 2008 by Olof Mörck (Dragonland, Nightrage) and Joacim “Jake E” Lundberg (Dreamland, Dream Evil). The lineup took shape when vocalists Elize Ryd (who had toured with Kamelot) and Andreas Solveström (Cipher System, Within Y) joined, along with drummer Morten Løwe Sørensen (The Cleansing, Koldborn, Mercenary).
