About Amalthea
There are at least two band with name "Amalthea" 1) The real start of Amalthea was in the year 2004, although the members had been playing together in various constellations years before that. The vocalist and guitarist Per Skytt, bass-player Jeremias Valsten and drummer Erik Skytt played in a post-hardcore band which ended up recruiting vocalist and guitarist Simon Mellergårdh in 2003. 2005 the first 7" was released by Amalthea as a new four-piece group and it was heavily influenced by 90s screamo and post-rock.
