About Alvin Smith

Alvin Smith's love of music started at a very young age. At the age of five he began his instrumental training with the trumpet. Eventually, he added string instruments beginning with the violin, then cello, and the bass guitar. Alvin sings baritone beautifully but prefers to play an instrument. Coming from an artistic family; his uncle played trumpet for blues guitarist John Lee Hooker and his mother was a ballet dancer. Alvin loves the creative process and thoroughly enjoys collaborating with writing partners.
