About ALMONDot

ALMONDot is a Japanese band blending j-pop with metal sounds, active since April 2023. The band consists of vocalist and guitarist Sorai (蒼来), rapper Ensen (苑茜), bassist Chrome (黒梦), and guitarist UI. They describe their music as industrial metal, but ther sound could also fit next to bands playing kawaii metal, idol metal and alt-idol music. The band was founded by vocalist and guitarist Sorai, and Ensen, a rapper and dancer who spent part of her childhood in London, shaping her unique perspective on Japanese culture.
