About Alexander Sigman
Alexander SIGMAN (1980/USA) is a composer of solo, chamber, electroacoustic, and multi-media works. He is currently completing a doctorate at Stanford University, having studied primarily with Brian Ferneyhough. Further postgraduate studies were pursued with Chaya Czernowin at the University for Music and Performing Arts/Vienna (2007), as well as the Institute for Sonology at the Royal Conservatory, The Hague (2007-2008). During 2008-2009, Sigman was awarded a residency at the Akademie Schloss Solitude (Stuttgart).
