About Alex Murray

"A poet, a piano, and a microphone." Alex Murray is a singer, self-taught piano player and songwriter from northern New Jersey. He began songwriting in the middle of 2009. He is currently studying at the University of Rochester and is taking voice lessons at the Eastman School of Music. After purchasing an electronic keyboard at a garage sale his freshman year of high school, it was only a matter of time before he learned how to play the piano. Singing has also come naturally to Alex.
