About Aless
aless is Hope Hampton, an ambient producer currently residing in Boise, Idaho. She grew up as a classically trained pianist and violinist. More recently, Hope has embarked on a new path in life, which has led her to compose and produce ambient music under the moniker, aless. She has been inspired by such artists as Tim Hecker, Stars of the Lid, Solo Andata, Eluder, Milieu, Aphex Twin, Autechre, Koda, Beautumn, and countless others. Her music is a soothing blend of her influences and life experiences.
