About Alan Connor
From a musical family, Alan began singing and songwriting in his early teens and initially cut his teeth with several established local bands before forming the duo Equator with fellow Yorkshire musician Darren Fox. Together they signed a US record deal that provided them with useful insight into the music business, if not a hit record. Ultimately however, Equator was consigned to history and Alan stepped out on his own. By 2001, Alan was developing his own distinctive dance pop sound and voice
