Akrasi are a duo that produce mutations of dub and breakbeat with strong vocals, fierce beats and haunting melodies. Live performances combine digital and analogue instruments. Akrasi met in Manchester organising jungle nights. They began to work on their own music which was heavily influenced by the eclectic style and D.I.Y attitude of soundsystem culture. German artists - Funkstorung heard this sound and invited them to Munich for their first performance supporting LTJ Bukem.
