About Akiko Tsuruga
Akiko Tsuruga (敦賀明子 Tsuruga Akiko?) was a jazz composer, Hammond B-3 organist and pianist from Osaka, Japan. A graduate of the Osaka College of Music, she resided in New York City since 2001. In addition to her solo work, she played as a sideman in various groups in NYC. She passed away in September 2025. Akiko Tsuruga has a YouTube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/organqueen
