About Akasha System
Hunter P. Thompson is a producer/DJ living in Tampa, Florida, originally based in Portland, Oregon. Making lush house music with an affection for gloaming techno and ambience reflecting his environment, from the crisp air of the vast Pacific Northwest to the humid swamps of the Sunshine State. After years dabbling in sci-fi landscapes as Opaline, Akasha System was conceived with the notion of adding a rhythmic pulse to the already colorful palette. He also records as DJ Panthr and Tegu.
