About Air Waves
The project of Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter Nicole Schneit, Air Waves emerged in the late 2000s with an appealing mixture of lo-fi indie rock and introspective folk that could be as ramshackle as it was dreamy. Albums like 2010's Dungeon Dots and 2015's Parting Glances helped establish Air Waves, but it was 2018's fiery Warrior that brought Schneit more critical acclaim. After a five-year gap, the project returned in 2022 with The Dance. When they released their first independent album in 2007
