About Ainbusk
Ainbusk was a Swedish pop-folk vocal group formed in 1983 on the island of Gotland, Sweden, by Josefin Nilsson (died 2016) and her sister Marie Nilsson Lind (died 2024) with Annelie Roswall and Birgitta Jakobsson. Initially known as the Ainbusk Singers, and changed to Ainbusk in 1998, the quartet is remembered for their single "Jag mötte Lassie" ("I Met Lassie") – frequently referred to simply as "Lassie" – which was the Christmas chart-topper in Sweden in 1990.
