Aida Cuevas (born in Mexico City, Mexico on 24 September 1963) is a Mexican singer and actress also known as "The Queen of Ranchera". She has released 27 albums and has won numerous awards including a Grammy Award. Her unique voice and style have allowed her to cultivate a successful and long lasting career, leaving a remarkable imprint in the history of Latin Music. Her signature song is "El Pastor." She is the sister of Carlos Cuevas, another well-known ranchera(o) singer in Mexico.
