About Ahmad Fathi
Ahmad Fathi is an oud player, singer and composer from Yemen. He has become one of Yemen's most famous musicians, noted for his creativity and brilliance in playing the oud. Fathi was born in Alhodayda which lies on the coast of the Red Sea in Yemen. When he was eight, he became interested in lute instruments. At the age of twelve he became a brilliant artist in his school. He was affected by the most famous oud performers in both Yemen and other Arab countries of that period.
