About Agathorn
Danish band AGATHORN was formed in 1980, and consisted of musicians that had previously been members of the bands Highland Quean and Medusa. They were more of a live band than a recording unit, but did release two full length albums: "Agathorn" in 1981 and "2...3-4" in 1987. While Agathorn never actually disbanded, a freak PA accident saw them opting for a rather different covers-oriented performance at a concert. This went down so well with crowd and musicians alike that they chose to continue their musical career in that direction
