About Afrotone
Afrotone was a reggae and funk rock outfit that formed in the summer of 2003 in Stellenbosch, South Africa, shone briefly on the local Stellenbosch and Cape Town gig circuit, then broke up in 2004 before they could release any official albums. Their song 'Dizzy Groove' was featured on the Tassenberg Allstars 4 live album, together with other local bands such Albert Frost, Delta Blue and Valiant Swart. Band members included Ricky van der Walt on vocals
