About Admiral Of The Fleet
Admiral Of The Fleet is a music project out of Wilmington, NC. It's two members, Jheri Evans and Jonathan Strickland, met at a concert featuring their favorite band, Brand New. Naturally they decided to get together and make music that sounded nothing like Brand New. Most of their songs are driven by the lyrics and guitar. There are, however, a few other elements to several of the bands songs. The band currently lists their influences as Andy Hull, Kevin Devine, Jesse Lacey, Ben Gibbard, Jeff Mangum, Colin Meloy, Conor Oberst, and Tim Kasher.
