About Adam Rahn
A side project of the Chicago ambient/harsh noise band Chip-Chip Chippewa, Adam Rahn (aka Adam Fucking Rahn) makes slow, heavy, sonically overpowering doom metal. Recorded on one track, with little to no editing, songs take you on a journey that is both meditative and unnerving. Combining harsh noise's high frequency feedback with metal and drone's low end minimalist guitar riffs at incredibly slow tempos. From May to July of 2009 Adam Rahn recorded Nervous Illness, a four track, hour and fifteen minute, basement recording.
