About Acne Queen
Acne Queen is the experimental recording project founded by CJ Diedrich in 2008. She is best known for her work in Omaha, Nebraska's indie pop group Spiders For Love, and former songwriter / bassist for Syd/Sid (2003-2007). While recording S4L's second EP "Shotgun Wedding" in 2009, CJ began experimenting with sound collaging. She found her niche using sound clips, all recorded from digital recorders or cassette, commonly layered on top of beats and drum loops.
