
Above the Earth is an Atmospheric Metal project formed in 2012, created by Roman "Arsafes" Iskorostenskiy (Kartikeya) of Moscow, Russia and Aleksandra Radosavljevic (ex-Destiny Potato) of Belgrade, Serbia. The band released its debut self-titled EP in 2012 as a duo (Arsafes recording, mixing and producing the instrumentation and Radosavlejic writing and performing vocals), before announcing in May 2013 that they had recruited Aleksander Miroshnichenko of Kartikeya on bass and Alex Smirnov of Kartikeya and Невидь on drums.
