About Aborto Elétrico
Aborto Elétrico (Portuguese for Electric Abortion) was a Brazilian rock band formed in 1978 in Brasília, Distrito Federal, Brazil. The band primarily consisted of future Legião Urbana frontman Renato Russo (bass), André Pretorius (guitar) and future Capital Inicial drummer Fê Lemos (drums). After André Pretorius left the band in order to pay military service in South Africa, Renato Russo assumed the guitars while Fê Lemos' brother Flávio became the band's bassist.
