About Abfahrt Hinwil
Abfahrt Hinwil is Chris Cunningham ( AKA Point 7 owner of Toytronic and no relation to the music video director) and Martin Haidinger (AKA Gimmik). Most of their songs shift between soft ambient and driving electro, with gorgeous techno melodies throughout. They have a full-length CD on Toytronic called Links Berge Rechts Seen ("Mountains On The Left Lakes On The Right") and a few vinyl-only releases as well. "Abfahrt" is the German word for "departure" and Hinwil is a municipality in Switzerland. Num Num is another project of this same duo.
