About Abe Rábade Trío
Abe Rábade was born in Santiago de Compostela in 1977. He begins his musical studies at age 4 in his hometown. He moves to the U.S. in 1995 to obtain a Degree in Jazz Composition and Piano Performance at Berklee College of Music (Boston. MA). Since 2000 he lives in Santiago de Compostela. Pianist, composer and teacher, he leads his acoustic trio since 1996. Babel de Sons (2001) was his first album, a live recording of the performance awarded with the 2nd prize of the International Contest of Jazz Groups of Getxo (Euskadi).
