About 5th Faction
5th Faction was a deathcore/groove/beatdown metal band formed in the fall of 1999 in Queens, NY. The lineup included John Collett on vocals (Success Will Write Apocalypse Across the Sky, Dehumanized), Danny Trapani on bass (Praeter Morte, Whorelord, The Forrest Gump Mile High Marathon), Anthony Fernandez (a.k.a. The B.Q.E. Kid) on guitar and Fellipe Monteiro on drums (Evelyn Red). The band's music was a fusion of driving metal riffs, off-time syncopation, deathcore-style vocals and the signature beatdown-hardcore "NYC" sound.
