Ivan Ferreira (vocals) Johann Eicher (bass) Rasheed Ferguson (Vocals) Russel Aitkenhead (guitar) Heno Janse van Rensburg (guitar) Andries Scoltz (dj) Lu Kapp (drums) Giovanni Ghignone (ex-bass) Sean Schwartz (ex-drums) 5 Star Society was formed in late 2000. Band fused Hip hop with hardcore and delivered it with passion and conviction. 5 Star Society formed part of the christian hardcore/punk scene in the Western Cape between 2000 and 2003 playing alongside bands such as Aftertaste, Neshamah, Impropriety, Not Guilty etc.
