About 3 Steps Ahead
Peter-Paul Pigmans (January 31, 1961 – August 27, 2003), known by his stage name 3 Steps Ahead, was a Dutch hardcore music producer. He began his career in 1993, releasing music under the aliases The Illegal Alien and Silverbells on Rave Records and Hard Stuff Records. In 1994, he was invited by ID&T to produce music for their label. He chose the name 3 Steps Ahead for his collaborations with Rob Fabrie (DJ Waxweazle) and Ed Bout (Holographic). However, the collaboration was short-lived, resulting in only two records, "Step 1" and "Step 2.
