2 Pedal Getaway was formed in late 2009. Our music crosses over genres from reggae, punk, rock, and blues, with crisp sound, tight rhythm, and a story line which immediately captures your attention. 2PG’s debut EP shows a flavor of reggae rock, which is new and unexpected to the Detroit scene. Rhythmic guitar hooks, rolling bass walks, and smart attack of percussion overlay a brand of everyday tragedy to give their dark story lines an undeniable groove.
