About 1969 Armstrong

Founded by Calle Thoor and Cristian Ekman in 2005 in Alingsås, Sweden due to their love of British shoegaze and American indie rock. Their first self-released EP, The Great Exposition EP, came out in July 2005 and was recorded in only two days. It was a mix of spacerock, neo-psychedelia and alternative rock/pop. The following year, Postcard EP, revealed a darker, less psychedelic, and more shoegazy and introspective side of 1969 Armstrong. The latest EP, Salient Night, was released on myspace.
