About Zu Zu Petals
North Lincolnshire based Zu Zu Petals combine rock, punk, metal and hardcore with pop hooks to create a high energy set. The music explores themes of the uglier human experience in an industrial northern town. Formed by vocalist Malan Device on recommendation of a therapist friend, who suggested it would be a productive way of working through problems caused by moving to Scunthorpe, the music deals with issues involving child abuse, torture, the murder of Fusilier Lee Rigby, bullying and despair.
