Zoë Wick was probably writing songs before she was born. Although the Seattle-based singer-songwriter was raised by her non-musical mother, she gravitated towards music and began singing and writing songs soon after learning to talk. “One of my first memories is of wandering around a field singing with my best friend, picking dandelions and making up songs.” When Zoë was 6 she insisted on learning to play the violin, and spent the next 13 years performing classical music both solo and as part of orchestras.
