About Zheng Baoheng
Zheng Baoheng (郑宝恒, 22 Feb 1924 – 17 Nov 2007, from Taiyuan, Shanxi) — Landmark yangqin performer-pedagogue and instrument reformer. Co-developer (with makers in the 1950s) of early equal-tempered “律吕式大扬琴,” he advanced concert technique, wrote/arranged widely, and trained multiple generations of players.
