ZAPATEKNO (born Boréas Isaias Orozco) is a DJ, producer, and label scout based in Jalisco, Mexico. Known early in his life by the nickname Zappy due to his high energy and rhythmic tendencies, Orozco began engaging with the underground music scene in Guadalajara during his secondary education. While working in the service industry to fund his initial equipment purchases, he gained access to local performance spaces where he developed a reputation for his charismatic stage presence and eclectic mixing style.
