About Zanzibar Snails
Zanzibar Snails is an improvisational experimental/noise ensemble from Denton, TX (with members spread throughout the Dallas area) specializing in a kind of dark, cryptic drone sound that draws from the free noise of The Dead C, Flies Inside the Sun and AMM as well as the post-industrial compositions of Zoviet*France, Nurse With Wound and more recently, Wolf Eyes. Though using a wide variety of effects, Zanzibar Snails employ no overdubs in their performances
