About Zander Nyrond
Zander Nyrond and Zanda Myrande were both pseudonymous for the British author, fan and filk musician Jonathan Waite. She was also, for some time, part of the filk band Cosmic Trifle. Zan identified as transgender for several years, though not 100% out in person, and chose to use Zanda as her name on any new works created after this time, but to keep older works labelled as Zander where that was already the case, because as she herself stated to friends, she saw no point in rewriting history.
