The ZAMBIAN GOAT HERDERS were a rock band from Wollongong NSW Australia. The band began as a high school prank, more or less. Matt, Greg, Dillon and original bass player Paul formed the group in order to enter a band competition, in which they acquitted themselves in a gloriously disgraceful fashion - it was a magnificent train wreck of a gig (I was there), and a clear indication of what was to come. On the way home from the gig, Paul fell out of the van onto an exploding bomb and was then kidnapped by Martians
