Zack Cart is a composer of modern electronic art music: music which largely follows in the Western contemporary classical traditions, but which is realized through synthetically-created sounds, instead of those produced by traditional acoustic instruments. In addition to art music Zack also has a heavy interest in dance musics from cultures across the globe, an interest which often manifests itself in the rhythmic vigor often present in his music.
