About yves potvin
Yves Potvin (Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, Canada, 1959) enrolled at the Conservatoire de musique de Québec in 1982 where he studied with Patrick Houdy. In 1987-88 he studied electroacoustic music in Toulouse (France) with Bertrand Dubedout, then in Québec with Yves Daoust and Jean-François Denis. As a winner of the 1991 Bourges Residency International Electroacoustic Music Competition (France) he went to Buenos Aires (Argentina) to work in the LIPM Studios.
