About Young Animal
Young Animal was formed in NYC in 2010, yet the music has been a decade in the making. Young Animal's sound is made up of several elements that come together to be universally enjoyed: romantic classical harmony, latin and soul rhythms, virtuosic rock guitar, and a dynamic vocal that goes from whisper soft to harsh, aggressive screams. When Richard Pinero (vocals/guitar) and Scott Unverzagt (guitar) came together to create Young Animal, they were already quite familiar with one another, having been best friends since grade school.
