Yellow Level Sessions was a one-off performance group from mid-Missouri consisting of Andy Gerth (vocals, guitar) and Caleb Mundwiller (drums). They fleshed out previous song ideas on a car ride to St. Louis to pick up Mundwiller's sister, Charlotte, and her then-fiancé, Ty, from the airport. Upon arriving and parking on the yellow level of the Lambert Airport parking garage, Gerth and Mundwiller set up a rudimentary recording station in the back of Mundwiller's car and jammed the songs they had practiced on the way.
