About Yards of Silk
Yards of Silk is the solo project of an independent musician from Michigan. He combines layered homemade pop music of various styles with straightforward lyrics about life and, occasionally, love. In 2009, he self-released his first batch of lo-fi home recordings called Green Tea and a follow-up in 2010, Leaving My Body. In 2011, he released a new 5-song EP called Thunderstorms and in 2012, he released an official debut full-length called Wetlands.
