About Yamakatsu
Yamakatsu formerly Yamaguchi Kassei Gakuen (山口活性学園) Y.K.G was formed in late 2011. It currently consists of 7 regular members and 6 sub-members. The unit is based in Yamaguchi in the prefecture of the same name. Yamaguchi Kassei Gakuen collaborate with local companies and shops. The 1st audition took place in October 2011. Other girls joined Yamaguchi Kassei Gakuen in March 2012 after a 2nd audition. They released their debut single Hello My Name Is in May 2012.
