Originally from Virginias coastline, he has played mostly in indie rock and alt. rock bands. xkellar has produced, mixed and mastered a wide range of genres and artists. Some highlights include; The Homesick Hitchers, The George Brown Band, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong and more. A guitarist since 1996, he drew inspiration from bands like Radiohead, Stone Temple Pilots, Seven Mary Three, 311 and incubus.
