RIP: It was in summer 2005 when the four remaining members of the group OPHELIA decided to break up the band to take a new musical direction. That was the birth of WRATH OF SANITY. In contrast to OPHELIA, WOS was to be more Hardcore than Metal, to reflect more aggression and authenticity. The result was a nasty mix of brutal mosh flirting with NY-style uptempos, crowd-raging crew-vocals and the striking voice of leadsinger Schuette. WOS were quickly able to make great live impressions playing stages around Germany together with acts like e.
