About Wout Steenhuis
Wout came from Holland but settled in England. He built his reputation in the 60's as a solo Hawaiian and jazz guitarist. He performed solo on stage with just guitar and voice but controlling backing recordings of his own vocal and instrumental recordings made in his own studios, a kind of one-man exotica orchestra. He is known to have sung in French, Dutch, German, Spanish, Hawaiian and Maori.
