Wounds of Convenience (or WoC) were born from the ashes of a well known Liverpool band, The Eventide. Initially as an outlet for frontman Carl Connor's songs he was unable to use in the Eventide the band took on it's own identity with the addition of Graham Cammack and Steven Hoare on guitars\bass and drums respectively. As an alternative to the career oriented and watered down commercial scene prevalent in the north west at the time- as well as a mutual hatred of so-called "landfill indie"- WoC make music as and when they feel like it.
