Drawing inspiration from the landscapes of the Swedish north, Woods End bring stories from where the daylight fades, and the long nights begin. Where the woods meet the shores, and the winter tell of tales uncovered in the snow. The music of Woods End is the embodiment of the beautiful northern melancholy; pale and distant, but at home and heartfelt. The debut album was recorded by the band in a makeshift studio at the edge of the baltic sea during the fall of 2014, and has been called “a subtle masterpiece of the genre”.
