Within the torn apart started in 2006 as a one man drone band, 4 string lime green (aftermarket paint job) shite Ibanaz bass and some heavy effects, plus a crappy Mesa amp, wtta was originally called In Emptiness, After working on the the first demo Napalm Dave sent it in to Spookycore recordings and the first demo track was featured on their 2007 mix tape compilation, After that In Emptiness got put on hold til about the end of 07, then Napalm Dave brought it back
