With Arms Still Empty was an emotional hardcore band based out of Grand Rapids, MI, and was active from 1998-2002. The band formed out of the ashes of several other Grand Rapids and Muskegon bands, and quickly began playing shows around the Midwest a couple months after forming. The With Arms Still Empty sound and dual vocal style was heavily influenced by bands like Boy Sets Fire, Grade, Instil and You and I. Although the band did not tour heavily
